In 2018, we were featured on the several news channels. Dozens of bags of asbestos waste were dumped in a residential alley in Burnaby and we were there to collect it. We wish we could say this was uncommon but unfortunately illegal dumping rates have grown exponentially over the past three years.

Vancouver has a $2M illegal dumping problem, and it’s only getting worse

The City of Vancouver says it gets about 20,000 calls about trash dumped on city property every year, a number that’s nearly doubled in the last five years.

Tearing down old Trail

A house across the way from the Union Hotel was torn down this weekend, as work continues on the old Trail site this week. Mike Reading and team were onsite to do the job.

This morning we were featured on the news. Global News reports, "residents are raising concerns after bags filled with asbestos were just dumped in the alley near their homes.

Canada 'moving forward' on asbestos ban, Justin Trudeau says

"We've actually made the commitment that we are moving forward on a ban … here in Canada," said Trudeau in response to a question from a trade union leader. "We know that its impact on workers far outweighs any benefits that it might provide."
